Inhalants Profile Panel Testing

Inhalants Profile Panel Testing is used to help find out if you or your child has an allergy to an inhalant. It is mainly used for people who have had symptoms that could be an inhalant allergy. Testing may also be used to see if allergies have gone away over time.

Inhalants Profile Panel Testing can help tell whether you have an inhalant allergy or a inhalant intolerance or inhalant sensitivity, which may cause similar symptoms. The key difference is that inhalant allergies involve your immune system and can affect your whole body and become life-threatening. Inhalants are tiny particles and gaseous allergens that invade the body through the nose, like pollen, spores, dust and chemicals. It is identified by wheezing, coughing, running nose, itching and watery eyes
